Cindy Mooney (Ombudsman) and David Feenstra (President) had a very productive meeting with Compass Management on Friday July 24 2026. At this meeting we talked about the items that were on our Priority List for 2026/27.
- Compass is going to install new brighter bulbs in all the coach lights on Pebble Beach to help to light up the sidewalks at night,
- Your GCHOA is going to have an office in the basement of the Clubhouse to have meetings, store filing cabinets and complete other GCHOA business.
- Compass is going to install 2 Horseshoe Pits (locations to be determined).
- Compass is going to set up two 20X40 tents in the Green Spaces for the Grand Cove Residents to enjoy. This is an experiment to see if they will be used and how they are used before they decide if a 20X40 permanent Pavilion should be built.
- Compass is going to purchase 6 picnic tables to put under the tents.
- Compass is going to investigate the cost and feasibility for installing a Golf Putting Green (Location to be determined)
- Compass is going to look into ways to make the path to bocce ball and dog park safer.
- Compass is going to look for different ways to improve Storage in the Clubhouse for GCHOA items.
- Compass have the quotes in for the repairs of the roads and sidewalks and are hoping to fix them in the fall.
- The hedge at the front of the community has been delayed pending MTO approval.
- Initial construction is scheduled to begin Monday July 27th on the infill lots. The current completion date of these homes is late September to mid October 2026, Subject to weather conditions. Located at:
