Our painting group is a relaxed gathering for anyone who enjoys putting brush to canvas — or who would simply like to give it a go for the first time. There’s no pressure here, no grades, and certainly no need to be the next member of the Group of Seven.

Members work in whatever style and medium they enjoy, and the real pleasure is in the doing. Some arrive with a project already well underway, while others come along just to experiment with a bit of colour and see where the afternoon takes them.

Just as enjoyable as the painting is the company. Conversation flows easily, encouragement is plentiful, and there’s always someone happy to admire your work or offer a gentle tip when you ask for one.
