Proposed Trail

Sol Haven Grand Bend & Grand Cove Grand Bend

South Trail Connection – Concept Overview

May 2026

Overview

Tridon Group, developer of the Sol Haven Grand Bend community, is exploring a potential trail connection from the south of their development to nearby amenities and commercial areas.

This concept is intended to improve walkability, connection and connectivity for both Sol Haven residents and those within the Grand Cove community, reducing reliance on vehicles and enhancing access to local services.

As part of this early-stage idea, the trail (subject to agreement) could extend through a portion of an adjacent private property, and continue across a portion of Grand Cove’s undeveloped lands, to complete the connection to the existing neighbourhood with access to grocery and amenity shopping plaza.

Vision

The intent is to create a multi-use trail that:

  • Connects both communities to nearby shopping and amenities
  • Builds on the existing trail network already present in the area
  • Respects the natural landscape and future development potential

Greater Vision

Tridon Group is exploring similar trail initiatives within and around the development to create a cohesive network of pedestrian and cyclist connections.

This concept is being shared as a starting point for discussion.

Should there be interest, Tridon Group would welcome the opportunity to further discuss. They see this as a meaningful opportunity to enhance connectivity between communities and Grand Bend as a whole, while respecting the existing landscape and land uses.

Feedback is appreciated, and they look forward to discussing the concept further.
