Volunteer Opportunities
Event Planning Committee
Commitment: 2-4 hours per month
Help organise and coordinate community events, from seasonal celebrations to educational workshops.
- Plan event logistics and activities
- Coordinate with vendors and sponsors
- Assist with event setup and cleanup
Join the Board
Commitment: 5-10 hours per month
Shape the future of Grand Cove by serving on our Board of Directors and making strategic decisions for our community.
- Attend monthly board meetings
- Review and approve community policies
- Oversee budget and financial matters
- Provide leadership and strategic direction
Welcome Committee
Commitment: 2-3 hours per month
Greet new residents and help them feel at home in our community.
- Welcome new neighbours with information packets
- Organise newcomer meet-and-greet events
- Answer questions about community amenities
Communications Team
Commitment: 3-5 hours per month
Help keep residents informed through newsletters, social media, and the website.
- Write content for newsletters and announcements
- Manage social media accounts
- Take photos at community events
